چکیده
With recent developments in the field of spin-orbitronics, two-dimensional electron gases (2DEGs) with Rashba-type spin-orbit coupling have emerged as an important component spin-based devices. One promising platforms is 2DEG SrTiO3-based structures, which has been fundamental building block oxide electronics. The formed due to redox reactions at metal/SrTiO3 interfaces incorporated into magnetic heterostructures, demonstrating efficient spin-to-charge conversion through inverse Edelstein effect sizable Rashba coupling. However, evidence for charge-to-spin conversion, a technologically more process, lacking, and furthermore, spin transport mechanism heterostructure unclear. Here, induced by direct Al/SrTiO3 interface demonstrated. effective efficiency exceeds 10% room temperature, comparable that archetypal converter, Pt. high found be suppressed decreasing crossover dominant from inelastic tunneling elastic temperature. These findings will provide clue unlock full potential oxide-based spin-orbitronic

Negative spin polarization and large tunneling magnetoresistance in epitaxial Co/SrTiO(3)/Co magnetic tunnel junctions.
We perform an ab initio study of spin-polarized tunneling in epitaxial Co/SrTiO(3)/Co magnetic tunnel junctions with bcc Co(001) electrodes. We predict a large tunneling magnetoresistance in these junctions, originating from a mismatch in the majority- and minority-spin bands both in bulk bcc Co and at the Co/SrTiO(3)/Co interface. The intricate complex band structure of SrTiO(3) enables effici...

compound-nucleus reactions provide the standard mechanism to populate states with high angularmomentum in neutron deficient nuclei. neutron-rich nuclei with mass aand induced fission. projectile fragmentation has proven to be an efficient method of populating nuclei farfrom the valley of stability. however, in the case of heavy nuclei this method is still limited to species withisomeric states....
متن کاملSpin Dependent Transport in Magnetic Nanostructures
Recent progress in physics on spin dependent transport in magnetic nanostructures is reviewed. Special attention is paid on the spin accumulation and spin current caused by spin injection into non-magnetic metals and semiconductors and superconductors. A variety of phenomena induced in nano-superconductor/ferromagnet devices are proposed, examining the spin-charge separation in superconductors.
متن کاملReference Transport through Graphene on SrTiO
We report transport measurements through graphene on SrTiO3 substrates as a function of magnetic field B, carrier density n, and temperature T. The large dielectric constant of SrTiO3 very effectively screens long-range electron-electron interactions and potential fluctuations, making Dirac electrons in graphene virtually noninteracting. The absence of interactions results in an unexpected beha...
